Dockflow, an innovative logistics start-up becomes part of the Inuits family. With this partnership, Dockflow joins a group of logistics companies such as Hakka, DigiTrans, CertiWeight, and cinvio in which Kris Kerremans (owner of Inuits) already participated.
The expertise, resources and partnerships of Inuits will allow Dockflow to expand its customer base, develop better new features for maritime logistics companies and scale the team. This is a logical next step in Dockflow’s growth. With this partnership, we will share our expertise and help Dockflow to build better software, scale their technologies and support them in the overall growth. Dockflow and Inuits share a mission of empowering logistics companies to become more efficient and future-proof by giving teams the right digital tools and making it easy for companies to collaborate.
Logistics Enablement Platform
The Dockflow team started in 2018, guiding freight forwarders in the blockchain landscape. Dockflow provided consulting and development services for logistics players in their digital transformation and innovation projects - most notably the VIL Blockchain in Supply Chains initiative with H. Essers, Lineas, Colruyt Group, Gosselin, and others. Through these projects, it became clear that there was not yet a solution for perishables shipping specialists to live monitor their cargo through IoT sensors, enriched with logistics information and supported by blockchain technology. These insights led to the development of the Dockflow platform, which went live in 2020.
Today, Dockflow is building the world’s first Logistics Enablement platform: empowering logistics teams to work more efficiently and pleasantly so they can focus on meaningful tasks and deliver better service to customers. The platform brings container visibility for over 200 carriers to any maritime freight forwarder and their customers with advanced custom notifications and demurrage tracking.
